Iran’s foreign minister has delivered a speech at a gathering of the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) attended by Indian elite and intellectuals.
Mohammad Javad Zarif made comments on the latest global developments and trends, and answered the questions raised bythe participants.
The Iranian foreign minister is on a three-day trip to India to hold talks with New Delhi officials. A political-economic delegation as well a team of individuals from the private sector are accompanying him.
High on the agenda of the talks is Iran-India economic cooperation. Upon arrival in New Delhi on Monday (January 7), Zarif told reporters that Iran has been, and will remain a reliable supplier of oil for India.
